Ridgeway presents award at the WOBAs

Ridgeway joined over 260 local business professionals in congratulating the finalists and winners of the 2012 West Oxfordshire Business Awards (WOBAs) at the black tie awards dinner at Heythrop Park.

A speech from Prime Minister and local MP, David Cameron, preceded the awards themselves with local businesses large and small being recognised for their achievements over the past year.

STL Communications impressed judges with their strong commitment to the local community, business successes over the past twelve months, plans for expansion and a genuine commitment to staff.  The other finalists in the category, Data Plastics and Oxford Products were also praised for their continued business success over the past year.  The title of ‘West Oxfordshire Business of the Year 2012’ was awarded to organic waste management solutions provider, Agrivert.

“West Oxfordshire is a superb place to be in business right now” says Simon Lassam, Managing Director at Ridgeway. “Through winning this award STL Communications have gained the recognition that they deserve and of course it was with great pleasure that we’ve been able to present it to them and to be part of such a fantastic showcase for all of the great businesses we have here in West Oxfordshire.”

The 2012 West Oxfordshire Business Awards gala dinner was held at Heythrop Park on 16 March 2012. The 13 award winners will now be entered into the Oxfordshire Business Awards in June this year.
