The brief
Banzai Events are a small, family-owned corporate events and motorsport experience day company based near Bicester, Oxfordshire.
In a highly competitive market where agencies dominate the search rankings, Banzai were seeking a web agency able to not only provide good web design services, but with the knowledge and experience to increase search engine rank and enable them to take direct bookings from customers, thereby reducing cost of sales and increasing order levels.
What we do
Ridgeway have now been working with Banzai for five years. During that period we have updated each of their brand web sites, working closely with Banzai’s staff to revise and refine every aspect of the designs, structure and web site content. In particular we’ve fine-tuned the elements of the web sites which influence search engine rank and have helped Banzai create separate sub-branded web sites to target different audiences.
Online payments now enable customers to book direct where this is possible and, where not, prominent alternative means of enquiry are provided.
On an on-going basis, Ridgeway are working with Banzai to improve search engine rank and social media visibility in both an advisory role and through pro-active content creation and distribution on behalf of Banzai.
The results
Banzai’s web sites rank highly for target local search phrases. Direct orders from customers have increased year-on-year in every year since we implemented online payment and, despite still being a small family-run operation, the Banzai web sites now vie for business with larger agencies and operators in their sector.
