Having maintained her own web site for several years, Penny Mallory approached Ridgeway needing a fresh new look and, most importantly, to refocus target search phrases onto some of her lesser-known professional services. In order to make the most of an upcoming publicity opportunity, a quick project turnaround was essential.
What we did
Working closely with Penny, we helped clarify the content the web site needed to have and established the how important it was for Penny’s life story to give context to her services. We undertook search engine target phrase research around key subjects and defined how these should be applied to the web site content.
Penny’s new web design was created specifically to focus on key services, making use of HTML5 & CSS3 technologies, all maintained through Kentico’s easy-to-use CMS platform. The web site was launched ahead of the deadline, the entire project taking less than a month from start to finish.
A better first impression, vastly improved search rank for all target terms and higher levels of good quality traffic have resulted in increased web enquiries for all of Penny’s services. She continues to receive positive feedback on the web site from peers, colleagues, clients and audiences alike and is now positioned amongst the UK’s leading female motivational speakers.
